i could never be an architect: progress - 2025

i could never be an architect is an ongoing series of work that reflects my experiences as an artist. In the first three projects of this series, I explore the initial stages of my creative process — the confusion, doubt, and eventually, clarity and confidence in my vision.

progress is the second in the series. Taking the form of a small handmade photobook, it unfolds as one cascading film strip, layered with different paper types and images. The most prominent are Python OpenCV processed photos printed on transparency paper. Things move quickly when I have a clear vision of the outcome, like skimming the pages of a book, I create without deep thought. But my head always catches up. Written on the backs of the pages are my thoughts on the freshly created work. Doubts and questions: What am I even doing? Why does it look like that? But at the end there is acceptance. It is what it is.
